The angels are part of God's creation. They are the heralds of His loving kindness and His gifts. It has been a long tradition of the Church, following in the footsteps of the Bible, to display before our eyes, images, paintings, sculptures of angels. Christmas time is here; let's rekindle with our love for angels! They steered the shepherds to the manger, don't they now attract us towards the One who renews all things?
During advent, our contributors offer testimony of the action of angels in their lives.

Perifmedia plans on taking part in the festivies and will lead a reflection, especially by following more closely the issues surrounding the presence of Joseph in Fatima.

“The Second Vatican Council ended already close to fifty years ago. One of the important aspects of this Council was the debate on the Virgin Mary. What were the issues? What has become of them today? Is this debate still relevant?"
Let us first recall a few facts.
Who am I to you? ask young adolescents, with emotion, to their parents?
Who am I to you? utters, in its own way, the embryo to be born? a boy? a girl?
Who am I to you? spouses asking each other the question.
Who am I to you? ask the elderly, kept away from their relatives.
Who are we in the Church? Could that be the cry of families, a cry to Pope Francis, and the Synodal assembly, gathered in Rome?
The presence of Joseph in Fatima on October 13, 1917 is not accidental.
Union creates strength. The union of Mary and Joseph is of an exceptional quality, a founding quality, not only for couples and families but for all that relates to human life and its government, the human vocation in its entirety. The complementary relationship between men and women is fruitful beyond the realms of the family; it is fruitful in all areas. Having even a repercussion on civilizations.
In September 2015, we were in the Canadian election campaign. On this occasion, ImMédi@ explored the sometimes tense relationship, yet still essential that unite God and the governance of the state.

During the battle at Fort Carillon, a banner was brandished to rally the troops. That banner was the principal source of inspiration behind the design of Quebec's flag.
Our contributors wanted to know more and to allow the fleur-de-lys to reveal its secrets… Follow, step-by-step, our research: watch our video coverage.
For centuries, God’s people were awaiting the fulfillment of His promises. On this day, the long awaited announcement was given to Mary… the coming of the Messiah!
Since then, Christians have honored the Mother of God by the prayer of the Angelus. Every hour, the clock strikes noon somewhere in the world and reminds us of this extraordinary news.

On May 1st, in Espaly, the sanctuary of “Saint Joseph of Good Hope” does not forget it’s patron saint. On the contrary, the whole region is invited to celebrate Joseph the worker. There will even be a procession throughout the city around a crowned statue of Joseph.
He who loves does not forget! And even if the feast of Joseph the worker has been retrograded to a “memorial” in the new liturgical calendar of 1962 (meaning that it is an optional feast), the team of “Joseph of Good Hope” sees that we do not forget the essential.

Holy week already! What a joy to find Mary Magdalene in the gospel today, March 30th:
“Then Mary took about a pint of pure nard, an expensive perfume; she poured it on Jesus’ feet and wiped his feet with her hair. And the house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume.”
It is in the footsteps of Mary Magdalene that the students of Ginette Légaré, artist and teacher, decorated 25 crosses. It is to honor THE cross, to recognize this most precious gift, to thank, to praise, to fixe our eyes on the Resurrection it promises.
May these crosses “perfume” our prayer during this Holy week!
