Ce jour est d’une densité exceptionnelle. Au tombeau, Jésus descend dans les profondeurs de l’être. L’Esprit Saint est à l’oeuvre, il bouillonne de Vie. Le Père est heureux, car tout s’accomplit.

C’est un nommé Joseph qui l’a mis au tombeau. Courageux et aimant, juste et d’une divine pertinence, Joseph est présent et c’est tout dire. Aujourd’hui, samedi, c’est le sabbat qui s’accomplit. Il fleurira demain: honorons-le!

Prêtons-nous à l’Esprit, pour qu’il remue les profondeurs de notre être: qu’il le rende tout entier au Père, vivant et rénové, par les mérites du Christ. À la prière de Marie, qui frémit en ce jour, de foi d’espérance et d’amour, laissons-nous conduire.

Joseph déposera doucement au tombeau ce qui est mort en nous et doit ressusciter.

Retrouvons-le au « tombeau » et que l’Esprit Saint ressuscite en nous ce qui est mort.

This day is exceptionally dense. At the tomb, Jesus descends into the depths of being. The Holy Spirit is at work, he is brimming with Life. The Father is filled with joy, because everything is being accomplished as foretold.

It was a man named Joseph who placed Christ in the tomb. Courageous and loving, righteous and of divine sustenance, Joseph is present and it speaks for itself. Today, Saturday, the Sabbath will be fulfilled. It will bare fruits for tomorrow: let's honor it!

Let us be transformed by the Holy Spirit, to the depths of our being: so that he gives it whole to the Father, alive and renewed by the merits of Christ. At the prayer of Mary, deeply moved with faith, hope and love on this day, let us be guided.

Joseph will gently lay in the tomb what is dead in us and must be revived.

Let us find him at the “tomb” and may the Holy Spirit resurrect in us what is dead.
